Damad was the type of band that would medley a few genres chaotically in a big pot and make a nice batch of very-listenable musicgumbo. It seems like they threw in every genre they enjoyed, which includes crossover, sludge, crust, southern metal, etc. It really worked out for them, considering the high regard that many people hold Damad in. However, the sun always sets at some point, and they broke up after a 9-year stint in 2001. Some members went on to form Kylesa and others went on to make Karst, which are both extremely relevant.Download here:
